Keith Valdez is the Dining Coordinator with the University of Saskatchewan (USask) Culinary Services team, driven by a strong passion for student engagement and operational excellence. She leads dining operations at the Marquis Culinary Centre, where she enhances the student experience through innovative programming, strategic marketing, and cross-functional collaboration. Keith works closely with campus partners, academic teams, and student groups to develop meaningful initiatives that support student success and contribute to a vibrant campus community.
She brings a diverse, results-driven background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and Management, from the Philippines, along with a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management in Saskatchewan. With extensive experience in customer service, marketing, and sales, she previously worked as a Relationship Manager, building strong client partnerships and driving strategic growth. She also has leadership experience in Front Office Operations and Banquet Services, consistently delivering high levels of service excellence.
Her core commitment is to collaborate, continuous improvement, and create inclusive experiences where students feel supported and connected. Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, cooking, and baking, and is a passionate singer who performs at special events and within her community.
