Shandra Huntington serves as the Hospitality & Events Coordinator for Culinary Services, overseeing all in-house and campus-wide events, including conferences, weddings, and special functions. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she has delivered exceptional events across diverse settings, from the German Club Folkfest Pavilion to large-scale agricultural showcases such as Crop Production, and has coordinated more than 800 weddings. Shandra is known for her resourcefulness and composure, having successfully managed unique and complex requests—including even arranging a live bear appearance. She is guided by a strong commitment to honesty, loyalty, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every event is executed seamlessly. Outside of work, Shandra enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs. A passionate food enthusiast, she loves experimenting in the kitchen, exploring new recipes, and baking for family and friends. Her collaborative approach fosters strong partnerships with clients and vendors.
